Ultrasound Therapy

Ultrasound Therapy uses high-frequency sound waves to decrease pain, increase circulation and help improve the mobility of soft tissue.

The ultrasound waves pass through the skin causing a vibration of the local soft tissues, which can cause a deep heating sensation locally though usually no sensation of heat will be felt by the patient.

Ultrasound Therapy can be used for:

  • The Breakdown of Scar Tissue
  • Achilles Tendonitis
  • Tennis Elbow
  • Golfers Elbow
  • Frozen Shoulder
  • Shin Splints
  • Plantar Fasciitis
